Calligraphy
Today I did calligraphy at school.I wrote syogatsu. It means New Year. I thought it is tricky.
But I could do it.
It was tricky.
The first time I could do it nice.
But the second time it was getting worse.
The third time it got worse and worse.
But, next time I will do it better.

Emily - your calligraphy is so good. I think you are very very clever to be able to write in Englislh and in Japanese and to do the brush calligraphy as well. It is too difficult for me!
Maybe by the third time you were too tired!
Are you counting the days until Christmas and New Year? I wish I were there with you.

I think you did a wonderful job on the calligraphy! I agree with your nan, I don't think I could do that either. Your strokes look very very nice! : )
